Is it normal for a boyfriend to be friends with his exes??

My husband is still friends with a few of his exes. Hell, I'm even friends with some of them.

Why do you have to be on bad terms with your ex boyfriends or girlfriends?
Maybe it could simply be that they do not want to be 'together' and it didn't work but that is not a reason to not be friends with them. I am friends with all my exes...so what!
I think you should concentrate on your low self esteem and insecurities. Jealousy is not an attractive trait by the way.
Chances are he'll probably eventually leave you because of that.

If you trust him, then it shouldn't be a problem. Trust is the key to any relationship. And, jealousy while endearing at first, gets kind of sickening. No one wants a jealous, possessive girlfriend.

If you keep accusing him of things, he is going to actually do those things because why get accused for it if he don't do it.

this can mean many things. he might be one of those douche bags who thinks he's a popular player so he hangs around with his ex's to keep this fantasy alive in his head. it could even mean the same thing that aussiewolf mentioned, or worse. he could be cheating on you with one of his ex's or his "friends with benefits" and have you on the side. although i doubt it, you could possibly be part of an even more elaborate scheme involving telling one ex that they're his girlfriend and that you're just the friend when you're not around and tell you otherwise when you come around. To me, this is usually a sign to dump them right away.

If you're in a situation where your boyfriend was with with his ex for more than 2 years then that's when you need to worry. If he lies to you, says things like "my mate's come over my house, i'll text you later ok" is a sign where your boyfriend hasn't got over his ex. The harsh reality is that most guys are fickle and the more 'mistakes' a girl mistakes; like pressuring a guy into commitment, ringing him too much, talking about the future too much etc. Makes a guy start to think about what its like to be without his girlfriend, if he starts flirting with his exes or talking to them more than usual then sorry but he's just not that crazy about you anymore :/

I'm friends with some of my Ex's... we ended on good terms... why just delete them from my life, i don't want to, but it doesnt mean i want them in my bed either.

I'm not of the jealous type, but i got this rule. If you had sex with them before they are off limits. Or we can break up, npnp.

I'm friends with my exes. But that's just because I have a kind heart. I don't hold grudges. So good for him. I mean as long as he is open about their friendship it should be fine.

Of course it is. I have best friends who stay friends even Best friends with their exes. All of them are actually my best friends and lesbians but hey, if girls can do it so can guys.

Um well yea they can be just friends, I'm friends with mine, my boyfriend gets jealous so I can understand where your coming from but if they spent alot of time together you can't expect him to give up his friend
