Is it normal for a boy to have swollen nipples whilst puberty kicks in

I am a teen in puberty and last year around the same time my right nipple became swollen and it felt like there was a bead under it. The next week the same thing happened to my left one. I know I don't need surgery for gyneomastica because I am thin and my breast is completely normal, just the nipples that are swollen. Not completely swollen either, and they go down when it's cold or when I touch them, they shrink back to normal but a half hour later they're back. It also hurts when I touch them.

    Happened to me when I went through puberty, don't worry about it.

    See a doctor if this keeps occurring.

    A few years ago, I felt a lump in my left nipple and went to see a doctor. After, about the second vista he claimed that my duct was probably clotted and that it should situate itself. It did.

    Perfectly normal. My son had this problem but if you search the internet you will find it very common.

    Also happened to me....shit HURTS when they get hit...ugh that makes me cringe right now thinking about it....fuuuuuuuuuu

    I'm sorry but it's not exactly the most pleasant thing for a young boy to go up to his mom/dad and tell them that their nipples are swelling. Remember being at that age? Yeah. Try to put yourself in his shoes.

    My nipples became really itchy and sore during puberty but not swollen. If it continues I'd check with your doctor.
