Is it normal for a 18 yr old to have a relationship with a 43 yr old?
About a year ago my mother wanted me to take co-op at high school. I was interested in the graphic arts and web development, but the placement they had for that wanted someone with a good background with programming. I found a computer repair place down the street instead that said I could co-op there for the semester. I was there with 2 guys, one was 21 and the other was 43, though he likes to say he's 33 because he does look it. After I finished co-oping and the summer came when I turned 18, I went back in September because I missed being there. I had thought the 43 yr old was the good one out of the 2, but when he found out I was 18, we started flirting, joking about having sex, suggesting going in the back so he could test certain reflexes. He always told me I'd have to make the first move so he couldn't be blamed entirely for it. So even though here he is saying if the opportunity came up, he would, but he does have some decency. I can say and tell him anything and he won't think badly of it. There is a 25 year age difference, he'll be 44 in 2 months and I'll be 19 in July. I know it's legal, but it feels still wrong, yet I can't help it. I've always been more attracted to guys around 30, but this is beyond my usual.
Around my 4th month co-oping there, he was in an accident where these 2 young guys tried to kill him. Even then I cared a lot for him, I was a total wreck without even knowing the specifics except that he had been beaten up.
