Omg, what is with these posts lately? Yes, it's normal to go to the movies with whoever you want.

If going to the movies with your dad feels embarrassing or uncomfortable to you for some odd reason(you should look into that...), then maybe you could just rent movies instead and watch them at home. Win-win.

    Why wouldn't it be normal?

It's not as if you're seeing xxx features.

besides your dad's paying for the tickets i bet so enjoy your time with him

Yes ofcourse its normal, don't think its weird or whatever, its totally normal and is infact a good way to strengthen family bonds. My sister is 16 and she goes to the cinema every week near enough with my mum

Why wouldn't it be normal? What do you think he's going to molest her or something? Let's say if she went to the movies with her mother. Would you question it? Or is there more to this Then you're telling?

  • Sounds normal enough to me. Personally, I think it's cute.

  • I'm 22 and go to the movies with my mother, it's called spending time together. Nothing better than having a day out, shopping and having fun, it strengthens family bonds.

I agree with Avant- Garde. Why would it be abnormal? Can't a dad spend time with his daughter? Or would that automatically qualify him as a pedophile?
