Is it normal for a 20 yr old to be dating a much older sex offender?

Ok, so I'm 20 years old and am seeing a guy who in his early 40's who was arrested for downloading child pornography. Many people have said I look young for my age...yet me and this guy have a lot in common and a good relationship. But I worry that he views me in a similar way as he views teens/preteens and this might be bad for him and me. What do you think?

    Why are you dating a sex offender? It does not matter how old they are! You are dating a sex offender? It was child porn no less! I really would not willingly hook up with a pedo. If you really want to do this dont ever have children. They might end up as his fun to sex toys. At which point he will toss you to the curb.

    I feel that once you get to a certain age or look a certain age, he might want to break it off with you.

    If you're happy, and he's happy, I really don't see a problem.

    But what happens when you're 30 and look 25?

    This can only end badly. What happens when you start maturing, and don't look younger anymore? ...uhhgg. This is just bad all around.

      Honey...have you heard of manipulation?

      While this guy is at least doing the legal thing of dating someone who IS overage, even if they look younger...Just because they're "in a relationship", it doesn't necessarily mean he's in it for her personality.

      Harsh, maybe. I could well be wrong. But...BLEUGH. He's into looking at little kids...that would be enough to send me running.

    Maybe he does, but strange things bound people together, and this may just be what attracted you to him, but iris much more than that after knowing you!

    It probably is the case. Why would you even want to be with a child molester? If you two had kids he'd most likely go after them. O_O

      I know it's not right to look at images like those, but he's never touched a child. He was arrested for looking at porn and not for creating it or kidnapping, etc
