Is it normal for a 10 year old to still sleep in bed with her mom?

My little sister has her own room but she wants to act like a baby and sleep in my moms room. It's very aggravating because whenever I go in there she is always there and me and her don't get along. Btw she will be 11 in January and she will be in the 6TH GRADE next year! I don't think it's normal.. Do u?

I don't think it's normal. Have you asked her why she does this? She's getting older and needs to be able to sleep in her own bed. It could be something deeper like her having anxiety, dependancy/boundary issues, etc. Her mother is only worsening the situation by enabling her.

I do think it's normal... There is nothing at all wrong with a mother and her child, regardless of age, sleeping In the same bed. Actually, I think it's really nice that this happens. Maybe it is time with your mum that you are wanting? Let your mum know you feel this way if that is the core issue for you. She will make time for just you and her and nobody else! :)
