My sister, Daioti is 16 and she's still discharging. She has fully grown her boobs but she's insecure because she's one of the only 4 girls in our school who isn't on their period.I'm on my period and so is our 13 year old sister. She wants her period now and wants to make it go faster! Is this normal for her?
I dont think you can force it unless you take hormone pills. Which I would not recommend. It will happen when it is suppose to. If it does not happen soon go to the doctor and see what is going on. She might have some internal problems that she does not realize.
Daioti is a lovely name! I think it is a tad late but people go through puberty at different rates. If it makes her feel better, I think she should see a doctor that specialises in puberty. Good Luck!
It's a tad late, but I had a friend who didn't have hers until 17 so I see it as a fairly normal range. A positive for her is if she isn't having her period, then she isn't ovulating either. So she can have children later in life, and not hit menopause till later too. Kinda nice in a way since so many women are waiting until later to have children
