Is it normal for a 20 year old to play with the neighbor kids?

If a 20 year old decided to play sports with the neighbors outside would that be illegal or look bad? If all the neighbors other than the 20 year old were either age 40-60 with children and all the children were age 11-14?

    Holy shit! You think this is illegal. Playing ball in the street with neighbors is a very normal thing to do and should be encouraged, not discouraged.

    It's perfectly fine in and of itself, but yes, to those of the more hysterical segment of society it's cause for alarm. I suppose it largely depends on where you're from.

    I would suggest getting to know the parents first, at least a little.

      Yeah, i guess it's normal. When i babysat my nephew, we'd play whiffle ball, and a bunch of the neighborhood kids would jouned.

    Its a bloody shame is what it is, I know dads who are scared of interacting with their own daughters too much in public because they might be thought peadophiles. Modern people don't trust eachother anymore, and then we wonder why . . .

    I play with my little brothers friends sometimes when they come over. ride bikes and shit. they are all 13-16. I'm 19. If having fun outside is illegal then strip my gears and call me shiftless.

    A lot of my friends are around 20-25. Most of them will play basketball with anyone who wants to. A lot of them go to the park (has a basketball court)and play with 15 year olds.

    Go play ball with the kids as long as you enjoy it. You are a pedo if you wanna fuck them, and as long as you don't no one will tell you anything.

    Yes, sadly, any time an older person plays with a younger person it is not okay and usually the parents think there is an alterior motive. I was 22 and met a really nice older man at my job who invited me over to play video games. I was excited to meet a new friend and when I told my mom about it, she was like, ooo you shouldn't do that, be careful, he probably wants something more. I'm just sitting here like, ugh, this fucking world.
