Is it normal for a 2 year old to not eat dinner?

My 2 yr old will not eat vegetables. I have tried everything I can think of, including giving them to him straight, mashing them into sauces or other foods he likes, various other methods, I even resorted to bribing him once, (with mixed results) but he won't even taste the food they are in, even if it is his favourite food. I mean without him knowing I have mashed it into the sauce he still refuses to eat it. There are tantrums and crying fits, and a couple of times he has gone to bed hungry. Is this normal? Has anyone else had this problem? Are there any solutions?

This is normal! Toddlers can be really picky eaters.

It's normal for kids, A lot of them don't like vegetables.

Oh and here is a joke about vegetables.

Whats the hardest thing about eating vegetables?

Getting caught up in their wheel-chairs!

It's normal. My 2 year old daughter eats well some days then the next hardly anything. Their tastes change a lot. My dd used to eat peas and corn, now she won't touch them. It's frustrating, but I don't get too worried about it.
