here's a question. if a 15 year old girl is in love with a 30 year old developmentally delayed man,and they're both at the same mental age and mental development,should they be allowed to date? would it still be considered wrong? the developmentally delayed man has been diagnosed by a qualified health professional. his mental state develops at about half the rate of a normal person. they have known each other for her whole life.

    Well, I'm about to turn 26 and I'll date a 18-19 year old no problem. But 15? No way, no underage girls, I'm not trying to go to prison.

    While the man may mentally be a 15 year old boy the girl is in fact a girl. She should not be allowed to date a 30 year old until she is of legal adult age (18). Love can happen cross the age boundry but if its real it can wait until a time where more maturity comes into play.
