Is it normal for a 18 year old to be obsessed with lord of the rings?

lol @ "always . . . since I was 16". 2 years isn't always, it's 2 years. Every teenager has obsessions, they're a symptom of immaturity. About the age thing, of course you're not too old for Lord of the Rings. It wasn't even written for kids.

If it intereferes with your dat to day functioning, it's a problem. If it makes you feel sad, or make you miss out on life - problem.

lord of the rings is big with adults now. Heck, theres 3 feature movies that made big money and book sales went up when the movies came out. Its up there with star wars, star trek, and harry potter!

I'm obsessed with Adventure Time, My Little Pony, and Pokemon. I also dance randomly and get have epiphanies while on the john. I believe I am in no position to tell anybody that their obsessions aren't normal.

Everybody has their obsessions. If it makes you feel any better, my nana is in her 70s and loves the Harry Potter series.
