Is it normal for a 13 year old girl to listen to this?
My neice likes Eminem, ICP, 5 Finger Death Punch, some of Korn (she says it's too emo), and Dubstep along with a couple of other bands. is it normal for parents to allow this?

What does her Mom think? That matters so talk to her.
BTW it is OK for a parent to step in and challenge/redirect away from their child the violent and abusive content of videos/music because it is inappropriate generally - and especially to that young an age group.
There is an industry pedalling sleaze and violence that has no compunction about pitting child against parent to make a buck at their expense. IMO too many parents are gutless, and too few vigilant.
O.o Dubstep isn't a band.... XD
But it's normal. I listened to all kinds of music when I was that age, better than them being sheltered and being shocked when they're exposed to things like that, as long as they have decent parents at home.
I think it's normal. I used to listen to music kinda like that when I was 13, except for Dubstep because it wasn't around. I think not allowing her to listen to these things wi just cause her to rebel. Growing up, my parents tried to shelter me, and it didn't make me a better person, it just pissed me off and made me feel like I missed out on some of my childhood.
She must be in highschool or going to college. Atleast when i was in high school, rap music was only starting to become the gimmick it is today.
