I turned 32 this year. Seeing the first wrinkles appear and still haven't been in a relationship. Have had sex only once, with a random guy just to get it over with at 25! Writing this makes me feel not normal at all...
Not everyone is a horny rabbit and not everyone is into relationships. It's cool.
Unless you seriously want a boyfriend, then it's not weird. I've never had a boyfriend because I've never wanted one. Normal.
It's more common than you'd think. People just don't tend to like to talk about it or admit it apart from anonymously (as you did here).
Have you had things that could have become relationships but didn't? In retrospect, do you think you know why it didn't happen? For instance, are you putting barriers up because you're afraid of intimacy or commitment? I'm not suggesting this is the reason. Just using it as an example.
To have sex with someone just to get it over with gives me the impression that you were not keen anyway but had it to lose your virginity and be like others.Perhaps relationships are not that important to you. Certainly wouldnt worry about it if you are happy in yourself. But if you do want to be involved it will eventually happen but
dont go searching for it. I met my wife in a supermarket but i didnt go there with the intention of meeting someone for a relationship.I went there to do shopping! Things will happen unless you prefer to be on your own.
I'm 19 and I have a GF but I really don't think it's wierd at all. But if you are desperate and don't succeed than maybe you aren't doing something properly, emotions perhaps?
According to a 2011 survey I read; 1 in every 40 women you meet between the ages of 30-50 is a virgin. There are over a billion people in America so do the math and you'll see that you're normal and others have it bad. Frankly, if you want a boyfriend all you have to do is talk to people. Go to places where others have the same interests as you and then talk to the people there. I know that being social can seem scary but you don't have to have a full in depth conversation with the person, just say hi every so often. Start small then work your way up. Eventually you'll catch that guy. Don't be the princess and wait for prince charming; go outside and only make him do half the work.
Just because 1 in every 40 women between 30-50 is a virgin doesn't mean they've never had a boyfriend. And the reverse is true to, just because you're not a virgin, doesn't mean you've had a bf.
Oh wow. Do you mean America as a continent? Because the Population of the US is little over 300 million.
A more realistic number for the United States population is about 340 million including people that are not counted. There is 1 billion 340 million people in China. You can consider yourself as one of the lucky ones. Most people spend all of their lives looking for that right person then when they get them they wish they did not get them. So just consider yourself lucky and you did not have to go through all of the pain and spending money and trying to make someone else happy that do not have your best interest in heart. Be careful what you ask for.
