I'm a 17 year old in my second year of college and I really like my math tutor who is 23. I think he thinks I'm 19 or something and I know he likes me but he's a total gentleman.

Be careful he could get in trouble for having a relationship with you as your tutor, regardless of your and his age.
Everything is fare in love, and age doesnt matter in love. Hes sounds like a perfect man for a girl, and I would have been glad to except him as a brother in law!

You think he thinks ... well so he doesn't know and really it doesn't matter since he is just your tutor. If, however, he asks you out you should tell him. But he is unlikely to because he is a tutor and there could be a conflict whatever your age. Maybe once he's not your tutor you could tell him your interest and be honest about who you are. BTW you must be pretty smart and have skipped some grades to be in 2nd year college at 17.
Why does he think you're 19? Did you lie to him? I'm your same age, in college as well. And my age is something I'm pretty open about. If you lied, you shouldn't have done it. I would much rather not mentioning it than lying.
I live in the United States and I didn't have my 18th birthday until my 2nd year of college. Not everyone follows the tradition of 4 years of high school, and 99% of colleges could care less.
I assumed this wasn't in the US. Might be more possible in other parts of the world.
May be not in your country, which ever it is! In some countries there are 20 year old Professors. Just because you are a dumbhead, doesn't mean that there are no brilliant student in the world. I guess you are a fucking Asian!
