Is it normal for a 5 year old boy to act this way?

i have a 5 yr old son who's also kind of a perv
but nowhere near as bad as you describe this boy to be he most likely has seen some things that he should'nt have like walking in on his parents or finding daddy's porn collection once they see this type of stuff it's hard to forget he realy needs some help cause it's not healty for him

you've spoken to his parents, and nothing has changed. Speak to him, tell him that its bad, and ask him why he does it. Younger children are more likely to tell the truth than older. If nothing else changes, i'd get social services involved.

If you're really concerned, do not ask his parents about it. More than likely, they will deny everything about his behavior and possibly get YOU into trouble or blame you for teaching him those things, even though you didn't. Instead, please contact child services immediately, as this little boy is most likely been abused or being raised in an unfit environment.

Update on situation:

I had another talk with the parents, the boy and my supervisor. The boy has since stopped grabbing my chest and slapping my behind. There has since been only one incident in which he was singing "suck my wiener" over and over again, but that's pretty much it. Thanks for all your input and advice!

For a young child who is not anywhere near puberty, much less sexual maturity, these behaviors must be taught. He couldn't know those gestures naturally on his own. I would do everything possible to assure that he is not being abused. I'm afraid you will find that he is

i know thats the age when boys start figuring out they have a penis and stuff, but that seems like a sign of him being exposed to sexual behavior in the home or who knows where.

i'd go with your instincts on this one... sounds like he's either discovered someone's porn stash, the code for the bad tv channels, walked in on mom and dad, or been abused.

This is not normal. You have to find the root of this behavior, it could get worse.

Sounds_ever so_slightly inappropriate to me. My little brother has never been like that, but that doesn't really mean much. He could have learnt such behaviour from any number of ways and people, so he might or might not be being abused, but no-one could say for sure from just what you've written here.

I don't think you should just leave it though. What could you do and who can you talk to about this?

He is FIVE??? What a little pervert. He might be having trouble sleeping and had found his parents doing it. He might have a baby sitter who calls her boyfriend/his girlfriend and the guy does those things to the girl and he may be seeing that. He could also be influenced by strangers and maybe a friends big brother or something. Anyway dress in thicker clothes so he doesnt get attracted to you or something.

Sounds fishy to me, look up signs of sexual abuse see some of those very things listed. Definitaly seems a little over sexualized for five, to talk that way to me.

children usually repeat what they c, could b from the parents or mayb a babysitter, or even a school student. it is not normal for a regular 5 yr but all u can do is ignore the child and wait til this phase is done.
