Is it normal for a 40 year old guy to attempt a special forces selection course? Even though he is very fit and has been in the army for many years.

    I don't quite think that many 40 year olds are quite in shape enough to pass that kind of test, but if you(?) are, more power to you. Just don't overdo it and end up out of commission for a long time.
