This is something that popped into my head, and I was curious: is it normal for a eighteen year old female and a thirty-six year old male to date?
Well it's not illegal, but you (or whoever the people in question are) are at totally different stages in life and probably don't have much in common. Just saying, that's something you really should take into consideration.
Younger man and older woman, yes. To explain biologically, she's almost at menopause and is looking to become fertilized by healthy, fresh, and emotionally detached males (i.e., young men). Older woman who gives in to this primitive urge, however, is probably not so mentally stable and may make decisions that will ruin both of their lives. Older woman may become very wounded when younger man loses interest in her drying cooch for the new, shiny, waxed cooches of his peers.
Younger woman and older man, not as yes. Older man should wise up and realize younger woman would not make for great gf material, being inexperienced and clingy, and would probably cheat on him and take advantage of his wallet.
So basically you're saying it's sort of a life crisis thing? You can also say the same thing about an older woman- that she she would wise enough to realize that a younger man isn't bf material.
Yes, that's true, especially if the older woman has some sense to herself. I'd agree in saying it's pretty much a life-crisis sort of deal, also. People are, 9/10 times (personal experience, but you can also check the media) attracted to young lovers so they can feel superior in some way.
