I'm female and I started masturbating and having orgasms at around 3-4. I didn't understand what sex was at the time. All I knew is that it felt good. My parents were concerned and punished me every time I did it in public and I soon learned to do it in private but that caused me a lot of guilt issues (they didn't want me masturbating at all and I was taught that it was bad or naughty).
Anyway, it's normal for young people to masturbate and have orgasms and it's also normal for you to be concerned about your child watching porn. I would advise you to place some sort of firewall or parental settings on your child's computer and gently teach him not to do it in public but don't punish or scorn him for masturbating as that can have a lot of negative psychological effects on the child's mental and emotional growth, development and overall well-being.
I think I was 8 when I first discovered masturbating. I have always had an unusually high sex drive and I hit puberty in my very early teens, most guys don't arrive at puberty until later.
What concerns me about this is the accessibility of pornographic material to children in today's world. Even the sexual connotations in popular music/music videos. He has probably been exposed to more sexual influences than you think.
