Just wondering if 11 or 12 year olds have accounts for this (I'm new) so yeah just write and vote :)
...12 and 13 year olds shouldn't be on this site, the agreement clearly states that you must be at least 18. If anything, that young of an age group often only degrades what smidgeon of intellectual quality there is left on this site.
Besides, at that age, you don't even have the life experience to determine for yourself whether or not something is normal, so you just assume that everything is abnormal when really, when it comes to you, it is all normal and again you don't have the life experience to determine that.
Yes it's normal that you started your period in school. Yes it's normal that he broke up with you and you're sad.
Yes it's normal that your Mom doesn't want you to get a job and to instead focus on your studies.
Yes it's normal that people are not going to like you because they are "preps" and you're a "goth".
Yes it's normal for you to be upset when your Dad yells at you.
Yes it's normal that you don't know what you wanna be when you grow up.

I think you're putting down 11-12 year old alot by this post. Yet they are common problems, but i know my little sister had depression when she was that age, and alot of her friends at that age were alot more mature than some people who were in my year at school. You're undermining preteens knolage for life. Most kids now at that age are very intellectual. SMH.

In my opinion i don't see anything wrong with younger teens on this site. It's ment to be a site that help people fit into their own skin, when i was that age i had many questions about feelings, periods, urges, and just general things. If the child feels asif they are mature enough to handle words and subjects on here, let them join. And i dont think any subjects here are peticulaly inapropriate, i know for a fact that most young teens are sexually active these days.

It is normal. They can't stop everyone from coming through..or coming back when they've been banned!
Well of course there are 17- on this site. Kids do know how to go against rules. Some kids do have some good questions. Some with good answers. I think as long as they are mature and educated at atleast 8th+ grade level. with responsibilty. They will be fine here.
I see only two possible reasons for such a question. Either you are 11 or 12 yourself or looking for 11 or 12 year-olds. Both are creepy.
I was just wondering because i had been looking around and i had seen lots of post that looked like a young kid made them! I know the rules say you must be 18! I was just wondering if those people were actually that young. This website was not meant for people that young! But now a days theres millions of 8 year olds on twitter so you cant really trust all the kids to follow the terms of agreement :/

I think that it's good for children to be on a site like this- it's children and teens who need to know whether things are "normal." I never needed more anonymous support than when I was in my teens.
the mods don't seem to mind this, i don't really see the problem excpet for the sexual and inappropriate questions and polls on this site. guess how old i am. it's tough, isn't it?
Well upon sign up it does clearly state those "over 18" so... that's the thing you can be anyone of any age or specimen on the internet.
From the posts I've read, it sounds like there are several members that age posting here. Some try to sound much older.
I'm an adult and I can honestly say that I'm regularly disgusted and appalled by some of the things that I find on this site. I can only imagine how a typical 11-year-old would react to it.
How old are you? The site is intended for ages 18+ due to some inappropriate content. There are some minors here though, but they seem fairly mature. Think you have to be a certain age to use social networking too, but there are sites and message boards solely for kids.
I've been told by several people that they think I'm 12 years old, when in fact, I am 18
I don't think 12 year old should be on this site for several reasons:
1. Inappropriate content
2. Over-usage of language (some kids that age aren't used to language)
and 3. Some people on here are pretty mean, it could make them feel bad about themselves..
Due to the graphic questions on this site, no. Also, it reads clearly in the agreement statement you must be 18. But, young kids are curious if they're normal too soo..
Well years back we had an issue with minors on this site - sadly there is always a loophole of getting around this.
All we can do is be responsible for our own actions, assist with thumbing down any offensive material and Udi can ban/warn/moderate the site to the best of his intentions.
