I have been dating this guy for over six months. I really care about him. He is great. I'm not really a long-term relationship girl, but he makes me super happy. I care for deeply, but I sometimes have sn urge to cheat. I don't act on those feelings, but at times I want to. Is this normal? Should I tell him or break up with him?

Maybe you are looking for attention from him or something. It must be something if you are not acting on these urges. Plus it may be because you are not used to such relationships so I would say talk about with him and see where it takes you. You may want to analyse the relationship first by thinking about where it is going and stuff like that, so that would make talking to him easier as you will know what your points are clearly
Most people are not 100% monogomous by nature. You are not a swan, bonded for life. You will have these feelings and it is up to you to control them or act upon them. Only you can assess wether or not your present relationship is worth staying in, but when you make that assesment keep in mind that the heart and mind are fickle and can come to radically different conclusions from one day to the next. Far too many people have broken their lovers heart and their own for a few minutes of indulgence, and only afterwards do the realize what they've lost.
Talk to him if you think that he can react rationally to your worries and not become jealous or spiteful. You want to be with him, even if for a few moments every once and a while you lust after someone else.
