Is it normal: expecting to wait two years after marriage?

So I've been with my boyfriend for 8 months now, and by golly I'd do anything for him! I love him to death! He loves me just as much as he so reminds me on a daily basis :) He's 16 and im 18, which I know is a little iffy :/
His parents think that every couple should wait to have sex until they have been married for two years. What's you're guys' opinions on this, and the age thing? Also, should i feel guilty for already breaking what his parents expect?

    wouldnt be to worried about the age thing. or what his parents think for that matter. he has a brain to decide when to have sex.
