Is it normal disturbing craigslist seller

My friend recently went online to buy an old mustang from craigslist. He texted the seller, and he said it would cost 15000. My friend texted him back that it was too much. The seller replied saying OK. A few minutes later, the seller texted my friend with several lines of gibberish. Some lines contained words. The words entangled in the gibberish were friend, nonmember, kid, and lastly, death. There were also yen signs and other signs. He also sent a video with backwards speech that was disturbing. The camera angle in the video was looking at a persons legs dangling, swinging back and fourth from first person view of the hanging person. It lasted for 5 seconds. It looked like the view of someone on a noose! SO DISTURBING! anyway, any explanations? My friend and I are confused and disturbed. He texted the seller back saying "what was that?" The craigslist seller did not reply. yet.
