Is it normal conservatives have been more violent lately?

Two days ago at home, my dad called me a "nigger lover" and started shooting at me. I managed to get out of the house. I called 911 twice on my phone and both times they told me off. I had to make it on foot to the sheriff's office to get someone to help me. I told my friend about it and he said one of those conservative pundits his dad likes said to a caller that any true patriot would kill any member of their family who was a liberal. I also found out a woman who goes to my university was shot by her dad after she said she didn't like Romney. A guy I follow on Twitter said that it was reported in his local news that a man killed his son "for being a liberal." Is all this just a coincidence or has someone riled up the Republican mob?

This story is more fake than Joe Biden's hair and teeth.

  • Most fake story ever. Some Liberal lying to make Conservatives look bad, that's NOT a first...

Of course it's normal! Because as we all know, only gun-loving, Bible-thumping, ignorant, racist, homophobic conservatives cause crimes!

I suppose you haven't heard of the people threatening to riot if Romney wins.

You should take your dad to a pro-choice rally and put the video on YouTube.

Yes it's pretty normal. As the republican party becomes more and more marginalized, they are having to scrape the bottom of the barrel for followers, so they end up with people on the lunatic fringe of society. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that the GOP has taken to using conspiracy theories and the "big lie" strategy to distract their followers because they have nothing of substance to contribute to a serious discussion about how to run the country.
