One's own perception of their appearance is something that intrigues me. We see ourselves totally different than others do. We look at ourselves in mirrors and base judgement on our assessment. Mirrors reflect a reversed two dimensional image, and that is all. Traits and characteristics such as stature, poise, mannerisms, our voice, our gait, etc... all assist in the make up the complete whole of how we appear to other people. I am lead to think that most of the "flaws" that you see more than likely go unnoticed by others. We are our own worst critic and beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. If these things really bother you that deeply, then work on changing them for YOU, and then focus on enriching you life in ways that will prove to be more rewarding :)
I don't like how i look i could change that but that requires effort just like this message the easiest way to avoid this is to kill your self drink poison Slash your wrists comon you emos know the drill get to it jump off of a bridge its all useless.
Completely normal. I don't think there's ANYONE who 100% loves how they look. We all want what we don't have. Just think about it.. people see you totally different then how you see yourself. Your worst enemy is yourself. YOUR BEAUTIFUL ♥
Its actually quite normal. We all have parts of ourselves that we tend to favor over others. Interestingly enough, the parts you favor are actually commonly favored parts among females, sometimes.
I bet a lot of people only like certain physical aspects about themselves. Try looking in the mirror more often, you'll probably find more.
Beg to disagree.
Try looking in the mirror less and stop obsessing about yourself.
Get on with laughing your way through life :o~)
Actually I was referring to the idea that the more you compliment yourself, the more you'll believe it. Worked with me.
True.
I had visions of her criticising herself more and more.
I was never concerned with looks - strange for a female I know. Bit more concerned now that I'm losing them ;o)
