Is it normal being proud when someone react to you on internet?

Everytime someone post something on my wall on facebook, someone retweet a tweet of mine, likes my post or photo it makes me happy and proud. I also hope that other people notice someone replied. Is it normal?

I think it is an addiction that has yet to be named and classified... I am the same way... not just with fb, but any means; texting, phone call, email, even on here... its kinda like getting a high I guess.

I always think everybody feels that way, its just that some people control themselves to act more casual about it
