Is it normal at 18 to move in with my boyfriend?

My boyfriend and I are in college and have decided to transfer to a new school that has my major and has given him an scholarship to play football. We will be living in a one bedroom apartment. It is a off campus student housing type of apartment. The amenities are paid we just furnish it. We will be splitting the rent and both of our names will be on the lease. I will be 19 in August & he will be 21 in July. The thing about our relationship is that we are friends first and boyfriend and girlfriend second. We get along very well with occasional arguments like every couple. We have saved up money & really want to make this move with each other. Is this normal?

P.S. We have discussed every possible thing that could happen and know what will happen if we don't work out.

Do it. I moved in with my girl when I was 18. It was a good experience for the most part, even though we broke up 4 years later. If u function well together and are in love, why not? Screw stigma. Do what u want.

Statically, you are more likely to have a broken relationship if you live together before marriage. I know its the thing to do nowadays, but I wouldn't. I was 21 when I got married and we didn't live together first. We both take the 'till death' part seriously. He's my best friend and we get along really well, but I do miss my personal space sometimes. We've been married for 13 1/2 years.

I think that it's young, but normal. ;)

I was 18 when I moved in with my ex. I don't want to worry you but it was what broke us apart.
It probably is a lot harder living with a boyfriend than you expect.
I found it hard and don't want to do it again for another 5 years at least. I found it hard to leave when we split. No where else felt like home for a long time. But I am glad it's over now.

Eh my only thing would be that it's a one bedroom apartment. If it doesn't work out, one of you will have to move out....I just hope either of you has the means to do so. Anyways, Good luck! Living with someone is definitely a test.

Yes it soon goes from we love each other so much to I fucking hate his guts.

When living together it becomes harder to hide your little quirks and habits.
