Is it considered unprofessional if they seem to be interested? Im young, new to the workforce and want to know before I start dipping my pen in workmans ink. please assist ;)

we dont get to chat much

should I just drop her a line?
better to pass up girls on the job? I could use some advice. never really liked someone at work, this is a first. :o

    Different companies have different policies on this type of thing. Some of them don't allow it and some do. I wouldn't let that dictate your decision but be careful at the very least. Things can get awkward at best if it doesn't work out.

      The policy here ( did some studying of my book ) is that they don't disallow it, but the managers seem pretty anti-dating in here, but almost everyone here is dating..... so....

        That doesn't sound too bad then.

        Maybe see if she wants to go out with a group of people first so that you can see if there really is potential. Then, if all goes well, start dating.

    I hate mixing work and personal life. However this is how a lot of people make freinds and lovers. I mean out of highschool not a lot of ways to socialize beside church and clubs.

    A lot of people meet their future boyfriends/girlfriends or wives/husbands in the work place. It's very normal. I'd follow q25t's advice :)

    Dont go for it but if its meant to be it will just happen. But as everyone said be very very sure of it because it could cause waves later and your job is important right now.
