Is it normal as an adult to sleep so early and wake up so early ?

Is it normal that this year i am always sleeping so early like i sleep between 8:00 pm - 9:00/9:30 pm and always wake up so early like between 4:00 am and 6:00 am even in the weekends ? , many times i'm watching a movie with my sister or parents and i fall asleep in the middle of watching a movie and go to bed ,and it's not 10:00 pm yet ! .My mom complains on why i sleep that early she says Babies sleep that early!. i'd like to stay late and wake up late like normal people , but i don't know how .

Whenever your body wants sleep is normal, except if it interferes with work or school. If so, try taking a nap in the afternoon, so you can stay up later and wake up later.

What age are you? I am 27 and started this trend last year. I used to work over night from 10p.m. to 6a.m. and once I changed shifts, I just started to sleep early. I used to sleep at about the same time as you mentioned but now stay up until around 11p.m. to midnight because I spend time with my girlfriend after she gets out from work. You would have to force yourself to stay awake for at least 15 days to change the routine.

  • I know a lot of people like you... so no worries. I have the opposite problem. Sometimes I don't go to bed until daybreak (but normally, I try very hard to be in bed between 2-3am)... and I'm usually not up until 9/10am. If only we could blend our sleep patterns together - it'd be ideal! :)

The morning is the mist beautiful part of the day. I only get to see it if I have not yet slept.

That's just what your body prefers. I am the opposite. I would stay up until 5 am -- I can without being a bit tired-- and sleep until 11 or 12 if I could. Lots of nights there's no way I can fall asleep before 4 or so.

Just force yourself awake for one day. Stay up until the desired hour and set your alarm for later than normal. That'll change your sleeping schedule.
