Is it normal as a guy not to feel anything during sex?

I lost my virginity to a girl i love about a week ago, but when we had sex I felt almost nothing. I had to repeatedly check whether my penis even were inserted. I felt pleasure for about a second when putting it in, but no pleasure after that. I did feel a little pain due to the position my penis had to take. I thought it was a condom problem, but even with extra thin condoms the same thing happened. It was in missionary.
