We've been friends for a long time (about a year) but we recently started dating (about a month now). It's my first serious relationship, one I know will last a long time, and I am still a virgin. He isn't but he is not pressuring me in the least, he's really good about that. I trust him completely, and I already feel like it would be fine to have sex. I want to wait a while longer, at least another month because I am nervous about it and I don't think I should be when we ever do. So is it normal that I'm already comfortable with it, and how long would you usually wait in a relationship?

    The right time is when you're both comfortable with it and want it, and you're both mature enough to handle a sexual relationship. Simple.

    I lost my virginity within the first month of a relationship. There are others who wait a year or longer. The length of time isn't important.

    It depends on the kind of friendship you had before getting together. If you really trust him, I can see that happening. Different people are ready at different times.
