Is it normal all day hangovers

Every time I get drunk I get all-day hangovers. I'll be hungover right up until I go to bed - not as bad as in the morning, but still feeling distinctly sick in my stomach. On the average night of drinking I'd drink a 35 cl bottle of spirits and maybe two beers - but I know people who drink the same amount who don't get as hungover as I do. I'm 23 and female btw.

Everyone handles it differently. Drink less or don't mix.

at times my hangover is up to 4 days on very drunk nights, like black out drunk. I try to avoid getting to that level. But a normal fun drunk, a day or two. I need intensive care during my hangovers. Soup, vitamins, fruit, bacon and pancakes, water, Gatorade, spicy food, coffee, sleep, and more sleep, fresh air, hot showers, etc....i go all out to bring myself back to tip top shape. Its that bad.

Maybe you forgot to eat the day during the day you had the hangover. You need to eat for the alcohol to be absorbed and dissipated. Whenever I get bad hangovers and I stay in bed all day it doesn't go away because I'm not consuming anything.

I've had all day hangovers, you could have a weak stomach or just a bad tolerance for alcohol. Drink less, drink water before you go to bed and eat food to sober up, always drink liquor before beer and don't mix too many kinds of liquor together.

Yeah.. its normal, I just feel bad in the morning and its almost like nothing and goes aways after eating something.
It may have something to do with your body and fat.

  • That does seem normal to me because that's the reason why I stopped getting drunk when I was 26. Now I stop drinking after I get a little buzzed, it's enough for me.

Do you drink water before you go to bed? That usually helps me.

Heh. Last time I heard someone say that, they drank water, vomited very loudly, came back and said "Yeah, that water made me sick". Sure, the water, not the beer-tequila-vodka-marijuana-sushi-latte we had.

That doesn't sound like the best combination in the world. XD

Haha. I know, I'm guessing the latte is the odd one out. Saké might have been a better catalyzer. :P

Well then, they pobably deserve the hangover.

They got it. It was a day and half hangover for them. ;)

Ack, that sound like alcohol poisoning. But if that's what it takes to learn how to drink, so be it.
