Is it normal after three weeks to say 'i love you'.

I've been dating this guy for almost three weeks now, and he told me he loved me. Is it too early, or is it normal?

By the way, we ate both adults, in college, and normal. I'm not some lovestruck 16 year old girl.

He might actually love you. I remember one time (about 9 years ago) when I met a woman and it felt like love at first sight. I had very strong feelings toward her and was actually convinced I was going to marry her.

We just celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary.

just don't even say it at all unless she's sucking your cock or whatever. the girls i know would be like"like omfg that was so totally awkward for real that you said that to me so soon? now i'm very uncomfortable and creeped out because of these made for tv movies where someone said i love you and he was a rapist goodbye"

It is early but it could have been three weeks and nothing from him but you got an I love you which is pretty good considering that it's only been 3 weeks

It depends on the couple. If it lasts more than a year then it's real

All that matters is how it makes you feel. If it makes you warm or happy, good for you. If it makes you nervous or an emotion akin to that, think about the reasons why and if you're comfortable enough, ask him what it is about you he loves. Sometimes when I've had a guy say he loves me, I ask him what it is that he loves and the things they tell me help me relax about it because they are the values I am hoping to reflect anyway or because they notice things about me that are often unnoticed. Best wishes though, to me it all sounds rather sweet :)

It does seem a little early, but then again, I guess it depends on how much you've seen each other during those three weeks. If you've only gone out a few times on the weekends, then you probably don't know each other all that well. But if you've spent time together every day or close to it, then you can probably get to know someone quite well in three weeks time. So he may in fact love you, but it could also just be an infatuation feeling he has for you. I'd say if you really like the guy, then just go with it and see if your feelings grow into love too. Best of luck to you.
