Is it normal after shaving it feels rough down there

Whenever I shave my vagina when touching it, it feels rough, kinda like sandpaper. Is there anything I can do? I also not ready to wax down there highly because I have a low pain level. Help?

    Mel is right.
    U can also try using more shaving cream and trying this stuff called bikinizone it's supposed to keep it smoother. Idk if it works though

    Nothing you can do, shaving just cuts of the top of the follicle, leaving it on the surface...obv causing the stubbly feeling. Plus pubic hair is so coarse, thats why you can still feel it, unlike leg hair. Only option...wax it. Possibly a brand new (sharp) razor may make it NOT as noticable...but thats bout it.
