Is it normal act different compared to my family and peers?

When I'm with any relative like my brother, cousins, parents, etc. that i tend to act sorta innocent but goofy and informative of new things.

When I'm around my peers I tend to act rowdy, loud, very outspoken and daring to the point of careless.

Basically, I do things around my peers that I would not do around any relative. It's like I am more comfortable with anyone more than i am with my relatives

Is this normal? Why do I do this?

    I'm different with my family then when im with my friends too!
    Kinda like a split personality?
    The only problem is when my friends and family get together and Im not sure how to act! Haha but I act different with my friends then my family too
    But I'm still comfortable with my family

    So you act differently depending on who you're around? Normal. Almost everyone does this.
