Is it normal about the member chat?

I went in there and I didn't recognise any of the usernames, which is fine. They were having a discussion about microprocessors and I didn't really understand so I just lurked a bit and finally left.

When I went back they were talking about computer chips again and I still didn't recognise any of the usernames. Then the conversation went on to level 2 caches and graphics processing units. I didn't really feel part of it so I left again.

I've just been back a couple of minutes ago and they were talking about future processor architectures. Are these people obsessed? Is it normal I didn't recognise any usernames on the member chat on Intel's website?

    The chat has many different topics at different times of the day/night. Be grateful that you didn't show up when aussie is posting dick pics.

    Next time, go there and talk. Don't just lurk. Become part of the conversation.

    Everytime I go in there, the regular users from last generation of IIN users are there, which I'm happy about. I'm especially happy that Who_Fan still goes there, quite a smart fellow.
    I used to be a regular on there to chat with those users that have been around for more than one generation of users, but my internet connection is so terrible nowadays that I can't.

    I don't go in there either. Although if I knew computer talk was on I probably would have. Oh well, I'm not so much of a 'chatter' anyway.
