Is it normal a change in personality?

My husband and I have a mutual friend who just a few months ago, moved back from another state. He was a very caring person, sweet, he cooked for his friends, cleaned for his friends, always did things to make others happy.

However, recently, he's been a complete dick. He is always angry, hyped up, loud, and obnoxious. He is very disrepectful of me and my relationship with my husband. He's even trying to con people out of money. Everything about him is different. He has a history of drug abuse that is supposedly in the past.

As of now, I know he smokes marijuana but I know that's not whats causing this change. Could this be other drugs?

    Me, personally i dont think is drugs. I've known a lot of drug users for a long time and their attitude doesn't change because of drugs. Maybe your friend is goin through a hard time, maybe he is traumatized, or had a really bad experience. Try to talk to him about the situation and how both you and your husband feel about him changin.
