Is it normal - veins on chest.

I'm nineteen. Not too long ago, I noticed some blue veins running all over my chest and breast area, and a bit onto my shoulders. It makes me self conscious, especially when I have to change for something with other girls. Their chests are all even and perfectly coloured. My chest just unattractive. It bothers me, makes me feel silly, and I want to know... Is it normal?

You are just very fair skinned and have transparent skin. I have the same thing. There's nothing wrong with you. If you really feel self-conscious, try some bottled tanning products.

I think it has something to do with hormones. It comon with pregnant women but I also heard some girls get it from anticonceptive treatments etc. Like taking the pill. It also has alot to do with your complexion, and let me tell you...pale is sexy as hell. A visable blue vein here and there won't change that

When you get pregnant the blue veins become more visible. Increased blood flow/ circulation. Not saying that your pregnant. If your fair skinned trying to tan and see if that's what it is.

You should ask your doctor. It is usually nothing and is common if you are pale and/or thin. If you experience any joint pain then see a rheumatologist and they can rule out things such as vascular EDS.
