Is it normal...to be able to think outside of being human and real?

Ok, sometimes I can just detach myself from general thought, and just think "Am I real? I am person x?" It's a hard sensation to describe, but if you have felt it, you probably know what I mean. Sounds like I've watched the Matrix too much, yet I felt this before ever hearing of the film.
I can kinda feel more superior than myself (you can think about yourself as if you are someone else, like in the third person...if that makes sense), and think how small I am are in this universe.

Or is it just me...?

I have felt the exact same thing, except for me it usually happens only for like an hour or two when I feel it.
But i get randomly, and don't really control it.

I've thought like this my whole life. My sister thinks the same way. My best friend thinks the same way. Now I'm getting people at work to think this way too. Sort of, opening their eyes, and waking them up to the real, reality, of whats really going on.

  • Absolutely normal, I think since humans are capable of abstract thought, things like this pop up here and there. It's ok.

It kinda feels like you're falling and there's nothing to hold on to, it's scary!

Don't think about how small you are too much, can crush you.
Its odd, but not "not normal".

Oh, I think it's normal. I've been doing that since I was 4, I kid you not. "What is life? Life is life. What is the concept of "me"?" I get what you mean.
