hi guys this is my first question
its not gona be long but i really need help in this so plz answer
and the question is that
is it normal 2 have no relation with your parents what so ever
we r a family of 2 guys me and my older brother 2 sisters a dad and a mom
the problem is that i never felt close 2 them to me they r just people i dont hate them and i dont love them either
the dont know any thing about me even the smallest things
they probably think im some one else and thats be cuz when i waz younger i tried to talk 2 them about som problems of mine or ask for there help but instead i got nothing unlike my brother and sisters who r really close to them always help them
and now i cant stand staying in this house any more
every day i just come back from college straight 2 me room never had a real conversation with any of them since ever
wish u can help me

    thanx for the comment guys its a really bad situation
    when u've got no one to advice u no one to guide u or back u up when needed
    i guess i have 2 accept the fact that i'll always be on my own

    I am close with my dad and little brother. Me and my mom are not close at all however, just like you. The only time I ever talk to her is when she need money!

    Me too. I haven't even talked to one of my brothers in a year. He seems to have disappeared from the face of the Earth. I rarely talks to my other brother either. When I call my dad or mom I don't say much. I don't feel comfortable talking to any of them about anything personal for numerous reasons. I haven't even seen my mother in 4 years.

    I felt just like you and I don't think it's uncommon for young adult males to feel this way.

    Then my Mum got sick and died, I felt sad for her being in pain and when she went I was happy for her. We didn't share any interests and we weren't close.

    I'm trying to have better relations with my remaining family but I find spending time with them really boring.

    Some people are close to their fams and some just aren't.

    Well there's a rambling non answer for you.
