Is it normal: 21 year old woman and 28 year old man?

Are you asking if your age differance is normal?If so then compared to 18 year old girls and 62 year old men..yeah your normal.

I don't think it's normal for a 21 year old to use the expression 'bed him'.

I met my husband right around the time I turned 22 (maybe a month or so before that). He was 28 years old, and he was my mailman. We started dating about 6 months later, and we're still together and happy 37 years later! It does depend on the maturity level of the individuals involved, of course, but 7 years isn't necessarily that big of an age difference.

Normal to me. One of my best male friends, ( I'm a gay male ), he is not my boyfriend, but we've known each other over 2 years now, have a great relationship as friends, and sometimes sexual partners. He is 40, I'm 21. He looks like he's only about 28-30 years old. I don't view his age, I just more so enjoy his company as a person. He is very easy to talk to. I've been told by many people, both men and women, that I'm much more mature than most guys, and girls my age. And that's what he's always liked about me. So yeah I think it's normal. I think it sometimes gets a little odd when you see an 18 year old with a almost 60 year old. But hey it's about the person on the inside. The soul is what counts.

I read a formula somewhere for guys over the age of 25 trying to determine the youngest they should date is half their age plus 7 years (note they have to be at least 25 for it to be viable, as the formula would have their lower end at an illegal value for a 21 year old). For the upper end it would be their age plus the difference between their age and the result of the previous calculation.

For example, at 28 the equation would be (28/2)+7, which is 21 for the lower end and 28 + (28 - 21), or 35 for the upper end.

So with that formula you're within his age range. Not sure if it applies to women, though, because on his end you're old enough for him but if you were to apply that standard to yourself he'd be too old for you by four years.

The rule of thumb for age seems to be age/2 + 5. You're all good.
