I know you only wanted advice from women, so I defer to the ladies above.

However, when you need medical advice (especially for something that has you this worried), PLEASE see your doctor.

As helpful as everyone wants to be, we are not medical experts, we don't have all of the information needed to make an informed judgment, and we have not conducted a breast exam.

PLEASE consult with your doctor rather than asking a bunch of strangers online.

    Best Wishes!

It's normal. everyone has it. It hurts when you squeeze it and it's kinda like another layer in your breast. You have the nipple the soft part and then the hard tissue.

I think you should get it checked as how would you feel if you ignored it because a bunch of people on IIN told you it was normal and it turned out to be an early problem you ignore and it gets worse??? That's worst possible case, but better off being checked than leaving it and being sorry, or left always wondering!!!
Good Luck!!! I hope you go to Dr... Take a friend if you need, also you can ask if they can used a sheet or something and cover them while they feel the lump, that is if you are shy or embarrassed.?.
    You have the choice!!!

Talk to your mum about it or another older female in your life and please don't worry that 17 years old the likely hood of geting Brest cancer is very very very unheard of and the younest case of bc is 14, bc happens mostly to older woman in late 20s up it's normal to worry little when your body changes but don't over do it.

I has the same thing when I began to develop but you could always see a doctor/nurse if you are still unsure, just to out your mind at rest.

I have the same thing, but mine is a cyist. The doctor said he could stick a needle in it and drain it, but it's no big deal if I just left it. I'm not a fan of having a needle stuck in my boob, so I left it. It especially hurts when it's that time of the month. You should go see a doctor though just to be sure.

Well I just turned 20 and I wear an A cup, perky and small. But Lately I've noticed that the inside of my left nipple becomes swollen and it starts to hurt at the lightest touch, my bra will even affect it. But it happens every few months. I have no Idea what this is but it kind of scares me, mostly because I of course have "No Idea What It Is". N like now the swelling is gone and it isn't hurting at all.

Think of your boobs as flowers. You have a hard circular disk shaped "bud" that will eventually blossom and spread out into milk producing sacs (petals, I suppose) and fat layers will surround them, thus finishing their growth and leaving normal, squishy boobs. I had the same thing, every girl does, you're just beginning your breast development.

i agree with nikki. if its bothering you go to the doctors, i had a lump in mine and i left it through embarrassment and fear and it turned out to be blocked hair follicals and then they burst and now i have no feeling in my breast except when its my TOTM and its like it comes back with a vengence. good luck. im sure you will be fine. but you want to get it checked to be on the safe sad

I don't think it is. Look, just go to your doctor.

My mom's friend had a lump in her breast, but it wasn't cancer. I don't know the exact details but she went on a detox diet and the lump just disappeared eventually.

So pay your doctor a visit.
