As if tolerance is a competition thing. Some people get high on only a puff, and some actually need more weed to get high. I respect that, but it annoys me when those that smoke a blunt by themselves tell me "oh you get f**ked up in just 1 puff?! laame!"
is it normal?
It's stupid, too. It's so much better to be a light weight, you get high on less.
I'm a light weight and I luv it... I save so much money. If anyone says anything about it just tell them how advantaged you are to be a light weight.
And if they keep saying sh*t then only let them take one hit of your weed.
Haha, yeah that's normal. I smoked pot for roughly 15 years and so many of the people I encountered (moreso in my highschool days) were (really douchey) all about talking up their stash, smoking more than you, as if it was some kind of martial art they had mastered. People are really stupid in this world. Enjoy your herb, don't become one of them. There's nothing noble or impressive about smoking more dope. Less is more.

Haha those people you are reffering to aren't the veterans they think they are. Like some have stated alrdy, I WISH I still got high from a hit. I've been smoking weed exclusively for 10 years now, and I garuntee those guys are prolly at year 3. Douchebags who started smoking to be cool, and who are still constantly trying to prove their worth/ coolness. So it's ok to hate them. But I beg you not to judge an entire group of ppl based on a few retarded apples

Fuck show offs I used to be able to smoke a few puffs and be so High now after smokin it pretty much everyday for almost 10 years a smoke a full 3 paper joint and only get a little high fuckin enjoy being a light weight while u can
YOu ever play a video game like CoD or something where there a noob who gets a 2/25 kill/death streak? well thats you. As time goes by, you will get better and build a resilience.
For example, I used to be SUPER light weight, and i loved it. Now i gotta spend like 5 bucks to get a buzz (about one real nice fatty bowl), where i used to get ripped of one nice bong rip.
Avoid generalising.
People who smoke weed in a party setting are probably just doing it to say: look I am hardcore. But there are people who just have a joint after a hard days work, maybe with a mate.
I personally hardly need any weed, and you don't build up a tolerance for it either. I would never insult someone who gets high off a toke or two, they're lucky like me! :)
People will always try to be better than everyone else, especially in those pretentious teen years. Just remind yourself that it costs $30 for them to get high, while you can just whack a nugget into a rollup and have money for other things.
dude dont sweat it. ive been smoking for around 8 years. i wish that i could get as high as i used to on the same amount of weed. those guys that brag about the amount they smoke are some king douchebags.
Well I've been smoking weed for ten years now so yeah i have a high tolerance and OK yeah when your younger its all a competition like "if you start that bong you got to finish it" but that's just when your a kid in school trying to show off to your mates and then pulling a whitey 'cause your way to intoxicated lmao Ahhh when we were young. Good times :)
There are a lot of people out there who think that way so it is normal to think they they want to show off but then there are those who don't act that way
sometimes they are jealous because you get high from one puff and stay high for a long period of time unlike them they get high from like 20 puffs and their high only last for 20 mins
