Is it just me or is life boring?

I once or twice followed a boring mundane religion: soft music, virtue, it's absolutely boring! I like virtue but I want some noise and people arguing. In my secular life the mornings were grey, the sun was grey. Every day it's the same thing: wake up in the morning, have a cup of coffee, turn on the telly. My life is mundane, everything is grey. Is that normal?

Then why not change things a bit? Wake up, have some coffee.. Then go for a walk, go to the park, the library.. Or do something fun, and productive. As opposed to sitting around and just watching the TV?

It would definitely bore me after a few hours.

Like is boring, Chaos is fun, dysfunction is intriguing and mundane is Unentertaining. You can not have peace without first having Chaos and you can not have chaos without first have peace.

Oh oh, another thing, yes I watched "Groundhog Day" and I quote "what if there was no tomorrow, and every day was exactly the same?", it sums it up for me, I'm used to it, every day is the same, I did something about it: as useless as it may sound to a scholar I got myself a 51 minute Yale university lecture on structuralism on the internet. It has changed my life: I have cognition, and I was inspired to want politicians to win on world issues, this will add to my boredom because now I have dignity, and have a desire to stop watching TV.

I'll have to ignore mumbum's murder. However your comments are greatly appreciated. I feel proud that no one is questioning this such as saying "stop trying to be philosophical", I'm utterly amazed, wow! People have never solved such simple problems I have without badmouthing me before. Congratulations, this will be my subject: "minimal TV", on my world domination, you found the solution!

You could take up murder as a pastime!

How ya doin' mate? I'll murder my boredom and become super ascetic anal bastard, the wisest autistic ascetic in the world, and smash all the TVs, it's murder, "I will staaaab a TV many times until it is smashed" (said in a quirky evil voice (used it in high school, trying to sound evil)), and ya know what? fair dinkum, burn all the TVs, this is Amsterdam Crescent, the unwisest street in the world. I'm an idiot so I use my mental illness to take over the world by wearing rags and forcing myself to be humble, then I don't have a lifestyle obsession, so I'm the normalest person in the multiverse, I'm so normal that I take up wisdom on a street that nobody copies, and I believe in an untrue philosophy because I'm an idiot!!!!

I recommend that you watch the movie "Groundhog Day" (if you haven't already). It is quite entertaining and has an important message too. You have the option to change your life. It is almost entirely up to you as to what direction your life takes you. Everyone gets into a rut sometimes but if you find that you are feeling really down and it is having a serious effect on your day to day living, you might want to have a chat to someone about it :)

    Good luck!

It's easier to stay in a situation then it is to change, even if the situation is crap. It takes stepping out of your comfort zone an that's scary but could be fun too!

Mundanity is normal. Greyness is normal. Lots of people live and feel this way because they're too tired to protest anymore and so simply resign themselves to it. If you want to change it, then you can. It doesn't always have to be that hard. Mostly, it's a matter of perspective. You can start by switching off that TV.
