Is it healthy to drink 4 liters of caffeine free coke zero every day?

Is it as healthy as drinking 4 liters of water since there are no calories and no effects from caffeine?

Ice water with a slice of lemon is fantastic.

That's as bad as straight up alcoholism, maybe even worse with all that acid in cola...

You can use Coca cola as a rust remover and it works well. Cheaper than actual rust remover too.
I've used it to polish and remove surface rust off car parts.

I used to drink 2 to 3 liter diet coke everyday for 4 years but then I started to have palpitations and doctor told me to leave my coke addiction

  • The acids are killing your kidneys. My mother knew a woman who drank coca cola all day every day and died of kidney failure at 33. The docs attributed it to the acids in the soda stripping the walls of her kidneys.

You do not get something for nothing. While it is true that diet sodas won't likely pack on the pounds, artificial sweeteners are no better, they just screw you up in a different way.

How is your stomach still ok? Sugar substitutes constipate me for days. XD

Water. I like water. If I want alcohol I'll take hard seltzer flavored water. Got to maintain my waist size. Jk I'm just a lil bitch when it comes to alcohol taste.

No, it's not. Even unflavored carbonated water isn't as healthy due to the added carbon dioxide mixing with water to make carbonic acid which can, like any acid, have negative affects on your teeth especially when drinking as much as you do.

Also Coke Zero is not just carbonated water. It has phosphoric acid making it more acidic than just carbonated water causing acid erosion of your teeth. That's really the only issue though as you would have to drink over 20 cans of Coke Zero a day for the artificial sweeteners you would be ingesting to be considered not safe assuming you are around 70 kilograms.

I prefer bottled water with a teaspoon of that Cortas rosewater in it.

  • 4 liters? Every day? I saw a video on Youtube that shows what soda (both regular and diet) does to your insides. It's not pretty.

It does virtually nothing. Soda is acidic, but your body is very good at keeping your body's PH in check. Really the only thing someone would need to worry about is the sugar and the acid's effect on teeth. Despite contrary belief artificial sweeteners are fine as long as they are taken in safe amounts making diet sodas healthier than regular sodas, you would have to drink over 20 cans of diet soda to go over what is considered unsafe assuming the sweetener is aspartame.

It's as bad for you as full sugar. It doesn't have the sugar content which is good, but the sweeteners they use are just as bad for you but in different ways. Funnily enough they've also done studies on people's body fat percentage and found that diet soda causes just as much weight gain around the middle as regular soda, despite not having the calorie content. They can't seem to decide on why that is, but maybe they will figure it out soon.

Studies surrounding whether or not diet sodas are actually a cause of obesity are conflicting. Their are studies that do show a higher rate of obesity with people who drink diet soda, but these studies are observational and it's hard to tell whether its the diet soda causing the obesity or if it's other factors.

Its less bad than regular coke, but still not healthy. There is some contravesry here though.
