Is it crazy to fall in love with someone you've never met?
I met a guy a little over a year ago on one of those "talk to a stranger" sites (I was lonely) and he was also lonely and in need of a friend (he was still in the process of getting over his ex girlfriend who cheated on him.) We ended up talking for a while and when it was time to disconnect we decided to exchange numbers and stay in touch through text, what not. At first we only talked every few days or so but then after a few weeks and some tough times we grew closer and started talking everyday. About silly things but also but serious things that you'd only trust a best friend with. Anyways, after a year and some change we've both discussed meeting and I think I'm going to do it. The problem is, I'm in love with him. (I'm 18 and he's 17 and lives nearly 12 hours away) I worry that I'm going to meet him and I won't be able to handle just being friends. So, am I crazy? Should I meet him, is it possible to love someone you've never met?
yes, meet him!!! see if the connection is there, you aren't crazy!!! | 20
you're an idiot, that's impossible! | 3
highly unlikely it'll work out, but you should still meet him. | 21 |
