Is it conceited if you get your name tattooed on you?

I want to get my name tatted on my arm in my mother tongue. Is that conceited? I'm kind of on the fence about it. I feel like it's too much or too conceited, but again it is my mother tongue and living in america, speaking English all the time, its kinda cool. But what do you think? Yes it's conceited or no it's not?

I don't know 8
No it's not conceited 15
Yes it's conceited 9

Are you the kind of person who writes their name on the elastic band of their underwear?

Do what you want. I personally think that tattooing your name onto yourself is really stupid, but that is just my opinion. Usually my opinions are always right and I am never wrong.

It's not as conceited as tattooing your name on someone else.
Suppose you change your name later. You might not know who you are.
I think you should just use an indelible marker and it will give you a chance to see if you like it or not.

Uncreative but I wouldn't say conceited.

It makes a lot of sense to me. If you're going to be tattooed with something, it should be your name, surely...above anything else.. your name.

It depends. Do you actually have a conceited personality? If not, then go ahead. Though if you're really questioning it, perhaps you shouldn't get the tattoo or perhaps get a different one? Tattoos are permanent and I've known people who regretted the ones they got.

What if your name is Dave? What if people understand your language and see "Dave" on your arm and think you're gay and throw all kinds of homophobia your way?
    That's the downside.

The upside would be that, if you ever get Alzheimers, at least you won't have to look far to remember your name.
AND if you are found in a ditch somewhere with four heroin needles in your arm and poopy stains around your anal region, at least the policemen would know that you are Dave.
