You should not be toying with other people's hopes, attraction, and emotions just for shits and giggles. Only approach someone if you are truly interested in them, however superficially. And only do that if your significant other is on board, not only because cheating hurts but because you're liable to start rumors and cause them social drama. If there's anything worse than being cheated on it's having other people pity you for it.

As long as you are honest about it, it's ok. If not you're sleezy.
