Is it bad i don’t like meeting new people out of fear of judgement ?

i don’t like meeting new people because i feel like they’ll judge me because i don’t drink or smoke. that’s literally the only reason. i usually just stay on my phone & not say anything lol.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

I can assure you, if they were to judge you it wouldn't be because you don't drink or smoke its probably because your on your phone. At least with me and my friends nobody judges anyone harshly for not drinking or smoking. However, it will be increasingly more boring if your'e gonna hang out with people that ONLY drink and smoke. yes those people exist (party people) and they are fucking boring if your not drinking.

Most people, if you’re on it the whole time.

Hmm... that's a good question OP, but I also have a question for you please if you don't mind before I can make any sort of judgments, or form opinions regarding your question.

Don't be afraid, most people see that as a bad habit anyway. I would even think more people would judge you as stupid if you started smoking than there are people who judge you negative for not doing it (although it's a bit more abnormal to not drink alcohol at all). I was always warned about the peer pressure to do drugs as a teen, but never actually experienced that. Either way, dont let fear of judgement ruin for the choices you genuinely want to make or think you should make, people will always judge you for something

Sound like you had judge mental parents who made you insecure. I got the same thing from m6 mother.
