Is it acceptable for a woman to playfully hit her man?

I know a woman who'll slap her man on the arm or shoulder several times in a playful scolding, but not abusive way a few times, basically when she thinks he's done something silly.

From the sound, it probably just stings a little bit. She's also made a show/act of threatening to beat him, and threatening him with a kitchen knife.

I don't believe she's serious about hurting him, and it's all done in teasing jest. She has a sort of rambunctious personality. Still, it strikes me as kind of a bad thing to do anyway.

    Eeeeh, the playful hitting seems fine as long as it's not hurting him. The knife bit is slightly odd.

    well, if she does it constantly, that's one thing. It's as if she has some deep psychological issue or something. If I were him I would tell her to lay off.. lol

    From what you've described, and stated, I think it's okay. As long as it's playful and not full-on domestic violence...I see no problem.
