I was driving home and at about 5 miles from my house I notice the tag on the car in front of me - it is 3 digits that represent my birthday + HPV. At first I thought it as just a funny coincidence and chuckled about it. They turned the way I was going and sped off and I thought nothing of it. Then after a long curve, a stop sign and another mile or two, I'm back behind this car at a red light. I'm like, ok that's weird...i thought they were gone.

When the light turned green, they went straight and I turned, still thinking it was just a weird mishap, but joking that it was a message to me. So, after another 2 turns, a curve, and a round about, just over the railroad tracks, perched at the last intersection approaching my humble abode is this car, once again. This time I kind of freaked out.

Is it normal to think I should get checked again for hpv? I was tested for everything 1.75 years ago and all was well. I also haven't really been sexually active in this time, but I guess it only takes one time/one person, huh.... Anyway...is it normal?

    Probably a warning that the next person you're going to be sexually active with may have it and not even know, so be mindful of who you sleep with and make sure they get check out if they're a serious partner. For instance, if you're a heterosexual woman, doctors rarely do hpv checks on men, so a lot of guys out there may be spreading it without knowing.

    Also, go get checked out, because it's easy to get it, but not the end of the world.
